whatever your view...

I stayed in bed about 2 hours ago because I had a terrible headache. It has been a while since I had one. Could be because I only slept at 4 in the morning and woke up at 10 by a call for a job interview. The person explained to me the job requirements and asked to come for an assessment on Saturday. I said yes because this job is different from what I'm used to. It doesn't hurt to try and we'll see how it goes.
After the call, I didn't go back to sleep. I brushed my teeth, washed my face and watched TV. I was hungrier than usual so I had hot chocolate for breakfast instead of my usual 3-in-1 instant coffee. I slept last night because I was reading a novel. A Malay novel. Mother borrowed it from a friend and because she was too sleepy to read it, I took it and started reading it.
The title is 'Tunas' by Hlovate. I like the fact that the author has used an unusual pen name rather than the feminine two words name. The language used is casual, straight and surprisngly colloquial Malay used by the teenagers. No holding back in the book. No swear words but still effectively deliver the message. Like most authors, I have a feeling that the author was a student at a local boarding school. I couldn't identify myself with the main character because I was never in one but I get the emotions that the author tried to portray. I was heartbroken back then when I didn't get any offer to boarding school. It was 8 years ago and I remembered it like it was yesterday...
